EV Charger Load Calculations

Question? How many AHJ's are accepting load calcuations from Electrical Contractors using NEC Article 220.83 (A)?

How many AHJ's disagrees with the DCA's determination allowing this to be used for EV Chargers? Remember, this is for an Exiting Dwelling Unit, where no addtional AC or Electric Heating is being installed. Based on the 2020 NEC

My opinion, this should'nt be allowed based on the 'FACT' that an EV Charger, charges at 100 % until fully charged! Therefore, how is it possible to provide any reduction in load of any percentage?
