INSPECTORS NEEDED! - FULL TIME and/or PART TIME -
The Township of Hillsborough is seeking qualified candidates for immediate full-time and/or part-time openings, for Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector and Fire/Electrical Inspector. They will be responsible for daily field inspections, as assigned by, and under the direct supervision of, the full-time Subcode Officials. Full-time openings are AFSCME Union positions with a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday. Starting full-time salary $77,000.00 as per current Union contract. $50.00 per hour for part-time positions. Each position has potential for an additional year-end stipend payment for using a second technical license. Inspection tools and Township vehicle provided for inspections. Offered benefits for full-time include Medical, Dental, Cafeteria Plan, Flexible Spending Account, Employee Recognition Program, Merit Increases. Fire Subcode Official and Electrical Subcode Official (FT/PT) These positions are represented by CWA Local #1032. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Salary Range for Full-time is $69,349-$86,888, State Health Benefits Program and State Pensions Program. The part-time rate is $37.26 per hour. Qualified candidate requirements: New Jersey State HHS Subcode License and Multiple disciplines desired, but not required. Montgomery Township – Building Inspector FT/PT
We are seeking a Building Inspector in our Code/Construction Department; who will be responsible for inspecting new and existing buildings and structures to ensure compliance with the NJ UCC. Ideal candidate should possess RCS, ICS, and HHS licenses issued by DCA and have knowledge of the preparation of violation notices and structural design and analysis techniques necessary to check compliance with the State UCC. Full time hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Part time hours are Mon/Wed/Fri - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Starting salary $69,725 per year, $33.52 per hour. Florence Township is currently accepting applications for a full-time Construction Official who will also serve as Building Subcode Official. Applicant must possess Valid NJ Licenses as Construction Official, Building Subcode Official w/HHS, additional HHS sub-code licensing is favorable. Valid NJ Driver’s License required. Salary range: $100K - $125K annual. Health and dental benefits available.
